At the Sept. 14 board meeting of the Learning First Alliance (LFA), Marla Ucelli-Kashyap, senior director, educational issues at the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) (pictured left) and Keith R. Krueger, CEO of CoSN, the Consortium for School Networking, were recognized for their leadership and dedicated service to the alliance. Krueger served as LFA’s board chair 2021-2022 and Ucelli-Kashyap 2019-2021.
At the 1.7 million-member strong AFT, Ucelli-Kashyap leads a team of professionals working on key areas of policy, practice and professional development aimed at helping teachers and their unions improve education quality and their profession.
Krueger leads CoSN, an organization that serves as the voice of K-12 school system technology leaders in North America and empowers educational leaders to leverage technology to realize engaging learning environments.
